Fernando Torres in form?
The story with Fernando Torres has been a frustrating and humorous journey for fans and the football world. He's transfer from Liverpool FC to Chealse FC was an astonishing move seeing the $80 transfer fee and the fact he was out of form before the move.This move didn't make it any better for the struggling super star as game after game he was unable to score. Then to make this worse as goal opportunities were starting to be presented to Torres, he was still scoreless and was missing 'sitters'! This is were his reputation started to fall and jokes where starting to emerge.
However in recent news this so called dry streak is starting to come to an end the jokes are staring to change. This change is because of the crucial but easy goal he scored against FC Barcelona to knock them out of the Champions league and then scoring a Hat trick against IQR. Know the jokes are:

THE FATE OF LUKA MODRIC
Luka Modric is clearly one of the best offensive midfielders in the Premier League if not the world. Over the past season and a hlf there has been much speculation of the Footballers future with Tottenham and in the premier league. following two transfer windows there has been speculation of Luka wanting out of Tottenham in the plight to play Champions League Football. Two huge bids of 50 million from Chelsea and another from United have tried to lure the star away from Tottenham. However CEO Daniel Levy has been reluctant to let him go and it is clear why. However it seems it is almost certain that Luka will leave in the summer transfer window, yet a champions league birth by Tottenhma may just well secure him for another season.
As a Tottenham fan it wasn't until their last game against Blackburn that I realised how much of an assett Luka Modric is to this team. His fine touches and quick passing and great footwork exemplify why he is the envy of most other footballing clubs. The way he controlled the movement of the game against blackburn directing traffic and setting up many goalscoring opportunities. His dart in the first minute of the game to get the ball to Lennon who just missed hitting the side netting shows how aggressivie and intuitive such a player is. When confident he seems very much in control with many defenders finding it hard to stop him. While he is aided well by players like Lennon, Bale and Parker it is clear he is the standout and needs to be kept. However after naother successful season it is clear it will be hard for Tottenham to keep him especially as he is very expensive with Tottenham struggling to fork out 100, 000 pound in player wages a week for him. However a strong end to the season and Champions League berth (depending if Chelsea win the Champions League or not) may well keep him in the side seeing as he will be reluctant to play with Chelsea and depending on the intention of United.
As a Spurs fan heres hoping that he remains at our fine club and continue his success with the White Lillies. COYS
